Teams (summer 2023)

The project supervisors also support students in professional and personal development by challenging the team members to propose fresh and novel solutions for the tasks, experiment with innovative approaches, and use modern technologies. Each team is agile and self-organizing. The role of Teamleader is to build a highly motivated and high-performing team.

The main goal of the project is to introduce up-to-date cloud technologies and renewable energy supply into the greenhouse.
Two teams are focused on addressing the main challenges of the project:

  • Solar Team
  • Cloud Team

Solar Team

The Solar Team establishes the renewable energy supply into the greenhouse device. The main goal of the Solar Team is to integrate the solar panel system as an alternative energy source optimizing the energy utilization of the greenhouse. The next goal is to preserve the modularity of the proposed solution to be suitable for various greenhouse devices. The Core Team has 4-5 members including the team leader.

The knowledge and skills you will develop:

  • embedded hardware
  • data processing

Inter-team cooperation dependencies:

  • data exchange – Cloud Team

Cloud Team

The Cloud Team provides cloud service for data exchange between the smart eco greenhouse and autonomous/remote control units. The main goal of the Cloud Team is to implement and optimize the cloud service to maximize the efficiency of the data exchange. The Cloud Team has 4-5 members including the team leader.

The knowledge and skills you will develop:

  • wireless communication
  • cloud technologies

Inter-team cooperation dependencies:

  • data exchange – Solar Team
