Therefore, the students and young researchers are an integral part of the research and development of the project VESNA. From 2021, the project VESNA takes part in the education of students at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.uiam.sk\/\">Institute of Information Engineering, Automation, and Mathematics, FCHPT, Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava<\/a>, see <a href=\"https:\/\/vesna.uiam.sk\/index.php\/project-on-process-control\/\">Project on process control<\/a>. Here, VESNA\u00a0introduces a cross-grade integration of the students into the unique <em>vertical project<\/em> approach.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The main educational and upskilling objectives include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul><li><strong>improving theoretical backgrounds<\/strong><ul><li>design for embedded hardware<\/li><li>sensors and actuators<\/li><li>network communication<\/li><li>cloud technologies&nbsp;<\/li><li>automation and process control<\/li><li>mathematical modelling<\/li><li>advanced controller design<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>increasing practical skills<\/strong><ul><li>implementation on the embedded hardware<\/li><li>programming and software development<\/li><li>distributed version control systems<\/li><li>project documentation and providing support<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li><strong>upskilling soft skills<\/strong><ul><li>research and development<\/li><li>critical thinking<\/li><li>teamwork<\/li><li>meeting management<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Project VESNA aims for upskilling students and young researchers.
